Concord, NC

Concord is known for two things; racing and shopping. Lowe's Motor Speedway Nascar track and zMax Dragway are both located in Concord just off I-85. Both host races and numerous other events. Concord Mills Mall is a 1.4 million square foot indoor outlet mall complete with theatres, restaurants, and an aquarium. With 17 million visitors annually, Concord Mills is the largest tourist attraction in North Carolina. 

Concord is located northeast of Charlotte and covers a large physical area. The census of 2010 reported a population of 79,066 which has grown to over 85,000 since then. Once home to textile mills and tobacco plants, it is now starting to reinvent itself.

Concord is about 30-45 minutes to Uptown Charlotte and the airport and about the same distance east of Lake Norman.
