Denver, NC

Denver, as a mailing address, covers the entire west side of Lake Norman. The actual town of Denver is small and laid-back. The west side of the lake is referred to as the "quiet" side. It is far less developed than the east side which has I-77. However, is it poised now for rapid growth with the completion of new Highway 16. A new 55+ community recently began building at the south end of Denver that will eventually have 1650 homes.

Denver, NC is located in Lincoln County. When searching homes near the lake in that area, most people will want to include a small area that has a mailing address of Stanley but is actually in Lincoln County.  (The actual town of Stanley is in Gaston County.)
