Sherrills Ford and Terrell are the two addresses that cover the northwest side of Lake Norman. Neither town has a well-defined town center. Most residents will currently travel the 10-20 minutes to Mooresville for their major shopping and services. There are only a handful of organized neighborhoods with a wide variety of waterfront homes as well as more rural properties. This general area is now poised for significant growth. Ground was recently broken for a large mixed use Villages at Sherrills Ford development with residential and retail in Sherrills Ford. A new Publix grocery store is now open there.
The commute to Uptown Charlotte or the airport from most of this area would be 35-50 minutes.
